These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and DEXUN INC ("DEXUN", "we", "us"), a company based in Seattle, Washington, which operates the DexunShort short-drama service: the website dexunshort.com, the DexunShort apps for iOS and Android, and DexunShort experiences inside partner platforms. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Purchase Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
DexunShort streams licensed vertical short dramas. The first episodes of a series are free; later episodes may be unlocked with virtual coins, a VIP pass, or other options shown in the app. Our catalog, features, prices and availability may change and can differ by country and platform.
All series, videos, artwork, text and software in the service are owned by or licensed to DEXUN INC and are protected by copyright and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream content for your private, non-commercial viewing. You may not download (except through a feature that expressly allows it), copy, record, redistribute, publicly perform, sell, rent or re-upload any content.
Purchases are governed by our Purchase Terms, which form part of these Terms. In short: coins and episode unlocks are a license to view content inside DexunShort and have no cash value; VIP passes are one-time purchases for a fixed period and do not renew automatically; purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to Apple's or Google's terms and refund processes.
The service may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdMob in our mobile apps. How advertising uses data, and the choices you have, are described in our Privacy Policy.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you. We will send you service messages about your account and purchases. Where we send marketing messages, you can opt out at any time through the link in the message or by contacting us.
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our Copyright & DMCA Policy for how to submit a notice or counter-notice. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
If you downloaded a DexunShort app from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and DEXUN INC only, not Apple. DEXUN INC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support, warranties (to the extent not disclaimed), and for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual-property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of an app from Google Play is also subject to Google Play's terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described on our Account Deletion page. When an account is closed, unused coins and remaining VIP time are forfeited except where the law requires otherwise. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEXUN INC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every location.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEXUN INC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify DEXUN INC against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small-claims court or limits rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
