Delete Your DexunShort Account

You can ask us to delete your DexunShort account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page applies to accounts created on dexunshort.com and in the DexunShort apps for iOS and Android.

1. How to request deletion

In the app: open Me > Settings > Delete account, read the deletion agreement, and confirm. You will be signed out immediately.

By email: send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your user ID if you know it. If you signed in with Google, Facebook, Apple or TikTok, tell us which one so we can find your account; we may ask you to confirm from that account.

2. What happens next

We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request and confirm by email when we have an email address for you. During this period your account is closed and cannot be used. If you change your mind, contact us before deletion is completed.

3. What we delete

• your profile (email, name, profile photo, user ID and sign-in links to Google, Facebook, Apple or TikTok);
• watch history, progress, favorites and likes;
• invitation and referral data;
• your coin balance, unlocked episodes and remaining VIP time.

4. What we keep, and why

• Purchase and transaction records, for up to 7 years, because tax, accounting and payment-dispute rules require it.
• Records of fraud, abuse or copyright complaints, as long as needed to protect the service and comply with law.
• Security logs, for up to 90 days.
• De-identified statistics that can no longer be linked to you.

Copies in backups are removed in the normal backup cycle.

5. Before you delete

• Remaining coins and VIP time are forfeited and are not refunded (see our Purchase Terms).
• Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
• If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove DexunShort in your iPhone Settings > your name > Sign in with Apple. Google, Facebook and TikTok offer similar controls in their account settings.

6. Delete some data without closing your account

You can ask us to delete specific information, such as watch history or a profile photo, without deleting your account by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". See our Privacy Policy for your other rights.
